We drove separately to Williamsburg on Monday. Different groups had different activities. The Ties joined us to go to Historical Jamestown first, before we went to meet at Carol's waterfront home for our home-prepared dinner.
Happy Cooks
Two things we did a lot - one was eating and the other was listening to Sun's lecture on investment:
On the second day, starting from our hotel we went to the Colonial Williamsburg Visiting Center and started the tour.
We had lunch inside the old town, and then we went to the Govenor's Palace and the Wythe House. They were quite impressive.
She told us that Virginia stretched from coast to coast!
The highlight of the day had to be the seafood buffet dinner at the Captain George's all you can eat place. Many of us revived our Banqiao spirit and entirely reverted back to our young and nauty days! We compared how many snow crabs had been consumed, how many had been fed to others, etc. Just see the pictures below for all the happy eaters:
On the third day, in Williamsburg we finally saw cherry blossoms! We were so happy that we had to take some pictures together:
Then we went to see Carol's showroom before we had a Chinese lunch buffet. After lunch, we had different activities again before we went to Carol's home to chat. It was great fun!
Carol with her youngest son
Carol's granddaughter!
Dinner was again hosted by Carol at a French Restaurant, Le Yaca, with great dishes. See examples below:
We all thanked several people who donated a lot of effort, time and money into making this a successful reunion. I will use the following pictures to say: cheers to all !!!
Thank you!!!
