Uglich
This final stop on the Moscow Canal was a very interesting one. This is a historical and charming town. While, as usual, there is too much tourist stuff around, it could not hide the basic attractions of this town next to the river. You could see the historical sights as soon as the boat was parked at the port. Then, after a short walk with a live band playing, we entered a hall with the gorgeous sound of men singing! Later we saw other attractions, such as
St. Dimitri's Church on the Blood (which means that Dimitri, the son of Ivan the terrible, was murdered here)
