Melk

This was our first stop in Austria. It has an Abbey with quite a collection of artistic treasures. We used our morning hours to walk through the whole place quickly. It is a very rich monastery! In the afternoon, we went through the Danube narrows in the Wachau Valley. It was quite cold but we enjoyed seeing these beautiful towns along the river.
