Mainz
This is a town created by the Romans with a Cathedral in the center (the Dom). It became famous because Gutenberg developed the printing press here in 1455. The stretch of Rhine between Koblenz and Mainz is famous with castles and vineyards along the way. We spent the whole morning braving the cold to watch them. It was great!
