This temple was built over a span of 1300 years, and it is a huge complex of shines. The Hall of Pillars consisted 134 columns nearly 100 feet high. And there is the tallest Obelisk in Egypt raised by the famous Queen Hatshepsut.

The first thing we did in the morning was to visit a nearby public co-ed school.

Early in the morning, some went for hot air ballooning.

Before lunch, we went to the Papyrus Institute, where there was a lot of buying!  Later, after dinner, we sailed to cross the locks at Esna by night. Just before reaching the locks, many boat people came to sell galabyas. They throw the galabyas to you, you try them, then throew the money back!
