You can not realize the maganitude of the difference between west and east Berlin until you stand at the wall and try to imagine what your emotions would have been when it was under communist control. Why do human beings keep trying to control other human beings? Are we basically just "bad" in that we must deprive others from getting ahead! We went to a number of famous places. Somehow when you personally visit these places, you just feel a deeper and better appreciation!
